uPVC casement windows
The best-seller for London homes: side-hung, top-hung or fixed-light combinations, with trickle vents to meet Part F and egress hinges on escape windows. Fully sculptured profile softens the look on period elevations.
Glazing London supplies and installs A-rated uPVC windows and doors across London, fabricated to measure by our sister company Prime Fabrication. uPVC windows supply and fit, or supply-only for trade, with FENSA certification, 7-10 day lead times and a free survey. Call 07399 253464 any time, 24/7.
We fabricate on a 70mm, multi-chambered uPVC profile system: five to six internal chambers trap air and break the cold path from outside to in, with galvanised steel reinforcement where spans demand it. Chambers matter more than brochure names: each one is another barrier heat has to cross. The same platform builds casements, tilt-and-turns, bays and vertical sliding sash lookalikes, so a whole house can share consistent sightlines.
Standard spec is a 28mm double-glazed unit, low-emissivity glass, argon-filled cavity, warm-edge spacer, achieving around 1.2 W/m²K and an A window energy rating. Upgrade to a 44mm triple-glazed unit and that drops to roughly 0.8 W/m²K, worth it on cold elevations and busy roads where the extra pane also cuts noise. Acoustic laminated and obscure glass are available per window, not per order, so the bathroom and the bedroom can differ.
White remains the classic, but most of what leaves the factory for London now is foiled: anthracite grey (RAL 7016), black, cream, Chartwell green, and woodgrain foils such as golden oak and rosewood that read convincingly as timber from the pavement. Dual-colour is the smart buy for period streets: grey or woodgrain outside to suit the elevation, white inside to suit the room.
Every window carries multi-point espagnolette locking with mushroom cams that pull the sash tight into the frame at several points, key-locking handles, and internal beading, so the glass physically cannot be popped out from outside. For ground floors, side returns and windows above flat roofs we recommend the PAS 24 / Secured by Design upgrade with laminated inner panes. If an older uPVC window is failing rather than finished, our uPVC window repair team can often replace the gearbox or hinges instead.
Almost every London installer buys frames from a trade counter, adds a margin and hopes the sizes come back right. Ours are fabricated to measure by our sister company Prime Fabrication, factory-direct with no middleman. The surveyor who measures your openings talks to the people welding your frames, which is why our remakes are rare, our lead times are 7-10 days, and awkward Victorian openings don't scare us.
Factory-direct also means honest pricing on the uPVC doors London homes actually need: front, back, French and patio, built on the same profile from the same line.

Tilt-and-turn for flats and safe cleaning above ground level; uPVC vertical sliders where you want the sash look without timber upkeep. See our dedicated sash windows London page for heritage jobs.
Front and back doors, French doors and inline patio sliders on the matching profile, multi-point locked, fully glazed or panelled, in the same colours as your windows so the whole elevation matches.
Want slimmer frames or bigger glass? Compare our aluminium windows and doors: we fabricate both, so the advice is on merit. And if a pane breaks the night before fitting day, our 24/7 emergency glazing team covers that too.
Every installation is registered with FENSA for Building Regulations self-certification and backed by public liability insurance through Simply Business. Your certificate and insurance-backed guarantee arrive after completion. Keep them with the deeds.
