Because our sister company fabricates our new frames anyway, we have zero incentive to upsell you a window you don't need. Is it cheaper to repair a window than replace it?
Almost always. A new friction hinge, gearbox or gasket costs a fraction of a new window, and most hardware repairs are finished in a single visit. We only recommend replacement when the frame itself has failed, and we tell you honestly which it is before any work starts.
Can you repair just one part, like a hinge or a lock?
Yes. Friction hinges, espagnolette gearboxes, handles, multipoint lock strips, rollers and gaskets are all standard replaceable parts. We carry common sizes on the van, so single-part repairs are usually done on the first visit.
How quickly can you repair a window or door in London?

Do you repair timber and aluminium windows as well as uPVC?
Yes, uPVC, aluminium, timber casement, box sash, composite and steel-look frames. Different systems use different hardware, so we identify the profile first and fit the correct matching part rather than forcing a generic one.
Will you try to sell me new windows instead of a repair?
No. We are repair-first: if a £40 part fixes it, that is what we quote. Because our sister company fabricates our new frames, we have no pressure to push replacements. When we do recommend one, it is because the frame is genuinely beyond economic repair.
