The right glass depends on what the pane has to do: resist impact, hold together when broken, block noise, hold back fire or keep heat in. Every specialist type below can be supplied as single panes or built into sealed double glazed units.
Heat-treated to roughly five times the strength of float; shatters into blunt granules. The default for doors, low-level glazing and table tops.
Two panes bonded over a PVB interlayer. It cracks but stays in the frame, so it resists burglars and protects shopfronts and rooflights.
Asymmetric panes with an acoustic interlayer cut traffic and flight-path noise. Pairs well with secondary glazing on the worst roads.
Holds integrity for 30 or 60 minutes in doors, screens and vision panels. See our fire door service for certified installation.
An invisible metallic coating reflects room heat back inside. Standard in every sealed unit we make, and it cuts heat loss through the glass by more than half.
Tinted or coated to reject summer solar gain: the fix for overheating south-facing rooms, rooflights and glazed extensions.
Turns from clear to opaque at the flick of a switch: privacy for meeting rooms, bathrooms and street-facing glazing without blinds.
Satin, stippolyte, reeded and traditional patterns in five privacy levels, matched to existing panes wherever possible.
Slumped to a template for bow windows, curved shopfronts and period doors. We are one of the few London glaziers who will still quote for it.
Bespoke mirrors cut to size, polished and drilled, from bathroom mirrors to full gym and studio mirror walls, bonded or screw-fixed with safety backing.
Toughened 6mm splashbacks painted in any RAL colour, templated around sockets and hobs, for a seamless, grout-free alternative to tiles.
Frameless and semi-frameless screens in 8-10mm toughened glass, hinged or fixed, with easy-clean coating, made to your exact opening.
Toughened 6-10mm shelves with polished edges, cut to size for alcoves, bathrooms and retail displays, with brackets supplied and fitted.
A round aperture cut into a new toughened pane or sealed unit, made to your flap model. A clean job that keeps the unit's seal intact.
