Our workshop is on Crescent Road in Wood Green. From there, Crouch End, Highbury, Kentish Town and Stoke Newington are all a short run, which is why we can board a window up in the middle of the night and still be back before the morning.

Where you cannot simply replace
Large parts of Islington and Camden sit inside conservation areas, and a good deal of the stock is listed. That rules out the obvious answer of a new uPVC window, and it catches people out after they have already paid a deposit somewhere else.
There are two routes that normally work. Secondary glazing sits inside the existing window and touches nothing on the elevation, so it rarely needs consent and is the strongest option for traffic noise. Or slim double glazing inside a restored original sash, which keeps the frame and the sightline. We survey for both and tell you which your address will actually get past planning.
