Aluminium suits the job because the leaf is built around a rigid slab, typically 60-75mm thick with an insulated core, that will not warp, swell or stick with the seasons the way timber and some composites do. The powder-coated finish is oven-cured to a hard, UV-stable skin in any RAL colour, so an anthracite or deep green door still looks freshly painted in year fifteen.

Because our doors are fabricated to measure by our sister company Prime Fabrication, factory direct, no middleman, we are not trimming a stock slab to fit a wonky Victorian opening. The frame is made to your bricks, which is exactly what a period London terrace needs and what an off-the-shelf door set never quite delivers.

An entrance set is usually installed in a single day: old door out in the morning, new frame plumbed and packed to the masonry, leaf hung and adjusted so the multi-point lock throws with two fingers, then sealed inside and out. Glazed door sets are registered with FENSA so the Building Regulations paperwork reaches you automatically, and every installation carries our workmanship guarantee alongside the manufacturer hardware warranties.

Fabrication takes around 2-3 weeks from survey.
